There aren’t many out there as high on the Spartans entering the 2022 season as RJ Young of Fox Sports.
Young released on Sunday his preseason top 25, which had the Spartans as the second-highest team in the Big Ten. Michigan State landed at No. 7 in his preseason rankings behind only Ohio State from the Big Ten at No. 2.
Buy Spartans TicketsOther Big Ten teams he ranked were Iowa (No. 16), Minnesota (No. 22) and Wisconsin (No. 24). As you can now see, Young controversially left the Wolverines off his preseason top 25, which isn’t unusual for Young who likes to ruffle some feathers.
