Rivian EVs Are Becoming Ghostbusters This Halloween

  • Rivian is bringing the Ghostbusters universe to its EVs for Halloween.
  • All R1 and R2 models will get a software update that adds visual and sound effects inspired by the 1980s classic.
  • The startup also built a full-scale R1S Ecto-1 replica and brought in Bill Murray to tie it all together.

Rivian has a bit of history when it comes to fun, Halloween-inspired software updates for its electric cars, but this year, the California startup is really going above and beyond.
