High street giant River Island has sent shoppers wild with a £34 Black Friday deal shoppers are gushing over. With Black Friday now here, the retailer has reduced one of its most popular products by more than half price, and shoppers are over the moon.
For Black Friday, River Island has slashed the price of its beauty advent calendar from £79 to £35. Inside you'll find £290 worth of goodies, which can all be split up into separate presents for Christmas.
Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has suggested budget advent calendars containing a high value of products inside as a way of saving £100s on presents at Christmas. Martin suggests dividing the contents of beauty advent calendars up and giving them out as gifts to different people if you're looking to save cash on buying things individually.

With its Black Friday discount, the River Island advent calendar is one of the best value on the high street right now. It contains a whopping 18 full-sized products, so there's plenty to dish out to friends and family at Christmas.
Some of the most popular items inside the £35 River Island advent calendar include : Glaze Super Colour Conditioning Gloss in Sheer Glow (RRP £10), River Island Amber & Vanilla EDP (RRP £16), BYBI Beauty Eye Pump (RRP £20) and Eyeko Black Magic Mascara (£RRP £19). The mascara and EDP alone amount the cost of the entire advent calendar.
The deal was shared on Facebook, where it quickly impressed shoppers. Chantelle Olive Williams said: "Thank you for sharing. I’ve just ordered one for my daughter." Maggs Gibson Daly wrote: "Oh hadn’t seen this thank you."
