River Island has got shoppers excited with a £34 Black Friday deal people are gushing over. Shoppers are over the moon after the retailer slashed one of its most popular products by more than half price.

For Black Friday, River Island has cut the price of its beauty advent calendar from £79 to £35. Inside you'll find £290 worth of goodies, which can all be split up into separate gifts for Christmas.

Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has suggested budget advent calendars containing a high value of products inside as a way of saving hundreds of pounds on presents at Christmas. Martin suggests dividing the contents of beauty advent calendars up and giving them out as gifts to different people if you're looking to save cash on buying things individually.
