River Island has been praised for a pair of £22 ballet flats which resemble Chanel's iconic £780 pair. Ballet flats are such versatile footwear, perfect to step up your office wear or an ideal chic replacement for wearing a high heel.
Chanel are renowned for their iconic French inspired flats, but they carry a hefty price tag. Fashion retailer River Island has a range of ballerina pumps in stock - with some bearing an uncanny resemblance to Chanel’s version.
In particular, River Island’s £22 Black Bow Ballet Pumps, which are both timeless and elegant, are almost identical to Chanel’s Black Lambskin & Patent Calfskin Ballet Flats that cost a whopping £780.

Both pairs feature a cute bow at the toe of the shoe with the main difference being that the Chanel pump has a slightly higher heel.
Similarly, River Island’s £22 Quilted Bow Ballerina Pumps in beige are comparable to Chanel’s £910 Ivory & Black Ballet Flats.
Both share a shiny black toe and bow, while the Chanel pump is made from lambskin and patent calfskin, covered in the designer brand's logo.
New Look’s White Quilted Leather-Look Bow Ballerina Pumps are also quite similar, except it doesn’t have a black rounded toe.
This pair costs £17.99 and they also come in black. New Look describe them as a “shoedrobe staple”, the classic white ballerina pump has had a stylish upgrade with gold-tone details and a quilted finish.
