A "gorgeous" River Island suit has caused a stir on social media, with the retailer calling it the "suit of the season".
The high street favourite uses its Instagram page to keep its 2.4 million followers updated on what's new or popular from its clothing, footwear and accessory ranges. River Island recently shared two photos showcasing a lime green suit which consists of the RI Studio Longline Sleeveless Blazer and Straight Leg Trousers.
The blazer, which costs £70, has three large buttons on the front, decorative pockets and a cinched waist. The trousers are a cigarette cut and cost £45.

The first photo shows the suit hanging up with a pair of heels next to it, while the second photo shows a model wearing the outfit. River Island shared the images with the caption: "A moment for the lime green suit of the season, by RI Studio. Swipe to style."
Shoppers were quick to share their thoughts on the suit in the comments section below. One said: “I just love this soooo much”. A second wrote: “Gorgeous pieces” and a third commented: “Love the suit”.
Someone else added: “omg how lush” followed by a fire emoji. One shopper tagged a friend and said: “be stunning on you”.
