River Island shoppers are saying a maxi dress the retailer recently shared a photo of online is "perfection".

The high street favourite is known for its stylish clothing, footwear, accessories and more. River Island frequently shares photos of its latest must-have items on its Instagram page to ensure its 2.4 million followers know what's new or popular online and in store.

The latest garment that has captured the attention of many shoppers is a Purple Ruffled Shift Maxi Dress which River Island shared a photo of alongside a matching purple handbag. The dress costs £65 and has long sleeves, ruffled detailing and a button back fastening.
