A River City star has issued a plea on social media to not ignore worrying symptoms and to always go to your doctor if you feel there is something wrong.
It comes as Iain Robertson, who plays Stevie O'Hara in the BBC's Scottish television soap opera, snapped a photo of himself in hospital and later issued the plea to social media.
In the tweet he explained that it was an issue that he had been dealing with for "years" as he thanked the staff at Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for taking care of him and dealing with the problem "swiftly".
