Rita Ora's ex-boyfriend Romain Gavras is rumoured to be dating her pop rival Dua Lipa after the pair were spotted leaving a post-BAFTAs party together.
Now it has been reported that the couple have been growing closer over 'several months', and are now an item.
Rita and Romain dated until 2021 for six months, before splitting due to work schedules making it difficult to see each other as she filmed The Voice in Australia.
Dua Lipa and Rita were once thought to be close pals in the music industry, but have grown apart with bitterness thought to have soured the friendship after Dua Lipa collaborated with Rita's ex Calvin Harris.
Romain and Dua Lipa have yet to officially confirm their romance but an insider said the pair have been growing close for months.
A source speaking to The Sun said: "Dua and Romain have been quietly getting to know each other for several months. They have been enjoying spending time together. The pair met each other’s close circles over the festive period and have lots in common.
"Dua knows how important it is to find someone who understands her industry. She feels Romain totally gets it. They’re both really creative people."
The pair were pictured leaving a post-BAFTAs party at London's Chiltern Fire House in the early hours of Monday, before getting into the same chauffeur driven car together.
Dua has been single since 2021 after she split from model boyfriend Anwar Hadid, and Romain split from Rita in March 2021 and has had previous romances with other music stars including M.I.A.
The Masked Singer judge Rita has been happily loved up with movie director Taika Waititi, who she wed in secret last year.
Both Rita and Dua were thought to be friends when they originally started out their careers, with Dua often being compared to Rita due to their Kosovo heritage and similar pop careers.
Whilst the pair have never outwardly confirmed a rivalry, there is reported to be bad blood between the two singers with Rita's ex Calvin Harris at the heart of it.
In 2018, Dua collaborated with Calvin for their hit 'One Kiss' which is thought to have added fuel to the fire between the two singers.
