TORY leadership candidates Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss are set to be grilled on Sky News on Thursday August 4.
The pair still have nine more hustings to take part in including the only one in Scotland which will take place in Perth on August 16.
It’s already been a controversial week for Liz Truss who labelled Nicola Sturgeon an “attention seeker” and came in for scrutiny when it was revealed she is believed to have hosted an undeclared champagne dinner last year.
Here’s all the information you need ahead of tonight’s showdown.
How to watch?
The event will be broadcast on Sky News on Thursday evening at 8pm.
It will see the candidates take turns fielding up to 20 minutes of questions from Tory members in the Sky Studios in west London.
They will then be quizzed by Kay Burley for around 23 minutes each.
The programme is also set to be streamed on Sky News’ digital channels including YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
As well as this, Sky News presenter Jayne Secker will host two additional specials from 7-8pm and 9.30-10pm which will feature live guests and analysis from Sky News deputy political editor Sam Coates.
