Rise of the ‘sickfluencers’: Thousands share tips online to trick benefits system, report finds

Thousands of “sickfluencers” are sharing advice on how to claim huge sums in sickness benefits across internet platforms, a new report has found.

Centre-right think tank Policy Exchange warned that the online coaching will fuel Britain’s economic inactivity and continue to put the health and disability benefits system under pressure.
