Jake Gyllenhaal was in the thick of the action as scenes were filmed for the upcoming UFC film 'Road House' that features Conor McGregor.
During the weigh-in for Jon Jones v Ciryl Gane, Gyllenhaal took to the scales to film a scene which involved his character getting into an altercation with UFC boss Dana White.
Also involved was former UFC ace Jay Hieron who'll play Gyllenhaal's opponent in the film. White became involved when Hieron's character slapped Gyllenhaal's and was forced to split them up. In a mock post weigh-in interview the two characters clashed with Gyllenhaal saying “This f***** just makes me laugh, cause he’s a f****** joke. Let’s go. Just give me the belt. Just give it to me. Hand it to me.

Hieron’s character called Gyllenhaal’s a ‘f****** bum’ and replied: “I promise you that’s the one and only hit you get. I’m putting you to sleep tomorrow night.”
Conor McGregor was also present during the weigh-in and will feature alongside Gyllenhaal in the remake of 'Road House'. It's not currently known which character he'll play but he is not expected to play himself. The appearances continued into fight night as fight scenes were also shot inside the Octagon. These were shot inbetween fights on the Jones and Gane undercard.
In one particular scene, Gyllenhaal's character scores a brutal knockout reminiscent of Jorge Masvidal’s on Ben Askren in 2019.
The official release date for the film is unknown although it will drop sometime this year on Amazon Prime.
