Rio Ferdinand couldn't help himself as he took aim at former rival Jamie Carragher after the ex-Liverpool man was snubbed by Cristiano Ronaldo on Monday night.
Ronaldo appeared to ignore Carragher while speaking to his one-time teammate Roy Keane ahead of Man Utd's victory over Liverpool. The Portugal international started the game on the bench, only playing the final five minutes as a replacement for goalscorer Marcus Rashford.
The result will have been a painful one for Carragher, who spent his entire playing career on Liverpool's books. However, Ferdinand couldn't resist the opportunity to kick his former England teammate when he was down.
"@Cristiano absolutely blanking @Carra23 there," Ferdinand tweeted while sharing a clip of Ronaldo walking past Carragher to embrace Keane. "Had you doing a 360 like the old days."
Ronaldo played against Liverpool on a number of occasions during his first Manchester United spell, scoring twice. One of those goals came in a 3-0 victory in 2008, with the second in a 4-1 defeat the following year which wasn't enough for Rafa Benitez's side to claw back ground in the title race.
The veteran played in one of United's two defeats against Liverpool last season, but was on compassionate leave when Ralf Rangnick took the team to Anfield. He has featured in all three of United's games this term, starting the defeat at Brentford and coming on as a substitute in the two home games.

Ronaldo has been linked with a summer exit, after United failed to reach the Champions League. No move has materialised with little over a week of the transfer window remaining, but teammate Bruno Fernandes has now dropped a hint about his compatriot's future.
"There is a lot of speculation, but there is no one better than Cristiano to talk about it," Fernandes told Eleven Sports Portugal after United's victory. "I may know a thing or two, but I won't be the one to say it.
"Cristiano is calm. He worked well this week and did the work he has been doing, which he will continue to do so," the midfielder continued. "For now he is a United player. I don't know if he will leave or if he will not leave. As he said, he will speak soon and they will have time to hear his words and what he has to say.
"I don't think anyone has shown so far that there was no interest in Cristiano not staying. He can continue at a high level and give us a lot of goals but it's his decision. We have to respect what he wants to do, whatever he wants to do.
"If he's going to stay, we'll be happy about it; if he's going to leave because he thinks it's best for him, I'll be personally happy for him. The most important thing is that he's okay, playing at the highest level and making our country proud."
