Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has praised Erik ten Hag after the win against Tottenham on Wednesday night, as Patrice Evra admitted he would rather have Antonio Conte as manager ahead of kick-off.
United got back to winning ways in the Premier League thanks to second-half goals from Fred and Bruno Fernandes. It was a dominant display from Ten Hag's side, as the Reds outclassed the North London club in every department, having more possession, shots, shots on target, corners and passes than Conte's side.
The Italian was heavily linked with a potential move to Old Trafford recently, before Ten Hag was eventually confirmed as United's next permanent manager over the summer.
