Former England defender Rio Ferdinand has tipped Eberechi Eze to shine in the Premier League this season.
The former QPR attacker joined Crystal Palace back in August 2020 and hit the ground running in his debut season, scoring for goals and laying on six assists in 34 league games.
Unfortunately at the end of his first season at Selhurst Park, Eze's picked up an Achilles injury sustained in training which kept him out from May 2021 to November the same year.

Working his way back to full fitness for the remainder of the 2021/22 season, Eze has now started both of Palace's games this season and looked dangerous in the 1-1 draw against Liverpool on Monday night.
Speaking to William Hill, ex-pro now pundit Ferdinand said that the 24-year-old will have the 'opportunity' to excel under the careful eye of manager Patrick Viera.
“Eze at Palace. He got injured last season, he did his Achilles. He’s one to watch, he’s got huge talent. The coaches at Queens Park Rangers said he was an amazing talent, but more than that, he was a very good professional. With the freedom that Patrick Vieira has given him in his Palace team, I think he’s got an opportunity to really stamp his authority this season.”
