Rio Ferdinand explains 'little something' Diogo Jota gives Liverpool after Ajax win

Diogo Jota Rio Ferdinand Ajax Joel Matip Mohamed Salah Thiago

Rio Ferdinand has praised Liverpool striker Diogo Jota for his performance in his start after returning from a hamstring injury in the Reds' win over Ajax.

Liverpool put last week's embarrassing loss in Naples behind them with a 2-1 victory over Ajax at Anfield to move to second in group A in the Champions League.

Mohamed Salah opened the scoring before Mohammed Kudus levelled. Joel Matip scored an 89th minute winner in front of the Kop end.
