Rio Ferdinand has urged Manchester United to make a move for Tottenham striker Harry Kane in the summer.
The Red Devils are on the hunt for a new forward before the transfer window slams shut at the end of the month, with their problem having been exacerbated by the mid-season departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. It appears that Erik ten Hag already has a target in mind with Burnley forward Wout Weghorst having been linked with making a loan switch to Old Trafford.
The Dutch forward is expected to be a stop-gap option between now and the end of the season. But Ferdinand has urged the Red Devils to be slightly more ambitious with their next swoop with a move for Kane, while also aiming a tongue-in-cheek apology to Spurs fans.
