RIO de Janeiro city chiefs have declared an official holiday for the day they play Scotland at the World Cup in Miami.
Scotland will face the South American giants in their final group stage game in Florida, after playing their matches against Haiti and Morocco.
And the self-titled "Carnival Capital of the World" has decided to close down the city from lunchtime onwards to allow their famous fans to party ahead of the game against Scotland, which takes place at 7pm local time on Wednesday, June 24.
All municipal employees of the city will be granted a free holiday as they prepare to watch Carlo Ancelotti's side against Scotland.
It will be the fifth time the two nations have played each other in the World Cup, with Brazil winning in 1982, 1990 and 1998.
The first meeting between the sides finished in a goalless draw in West Germany in 1974.
