A Ring doorbell camera captured the moment a blaze engulfed a children's playground.
The fire happened on Friday, January 14, at the playground in Springwell Park, Bootle.

Mo Ahmed, whose Ring doorbell recorded the fire, said: "That's the first time I've seen something like that as I'm still new in the area."
An image of charred wooden pallets was posted into a local Facebook group with the caption: "Went down the park with the kids. This is what has been done.
"Needless to say we spent very little time there. This is the park behind Springwell School on Menai Rd. This is a residential area and this goes on."
Jennifer Taylor, community safety coordinator at MFRS, said: “There have been a number of deliberate fires over recent days in Springwell Park involving rubbish and a skip being set on fire.
"Some people might think setting fire to rubbish bins, shrubbery or park equipment is a bit of harmless but fun this is arson – a serious criminal offence which puts people’s lives at risk and takes away valuable assets away from the local community. These fires divert our crews away from other, potentially life-threatening emergencies.
"Many of these fires involve rubbish and refuse containers which often contain aerosols and other items that can pose a danger to the local public, our firefighters and to the environment.
“We will continue to work with partner agencies to provide reassurance to residents in communities affected by arson and to of course reduce the incidents themselves. Arson is a crime. If you see it, report. Always dial 999 in an emergency.”
