Rimi Sen has reportedly filed a police case against a Goregaon-based businessman for allegedly defrauding her of Rs 4.14 crore.
According to a report in Zoom Digital, the accused persuaded her with promises of 28-30 percent profits and forced her to deposit Rs 4.14 crore in a new business endeavour through her film production company. The report added that neither the principle nor the anticipated profits were returned to her. The actress also claimed that the person has stopped communicating with her since then.
The report also further added that the fraud began in 2019 when she met the accused at an Andheri gym. He had convinced her that he was involved in investments through his family's company.
