Rihanna looked stunning on fashion's most glamorous night of the year as the Met Gala returned to New York City on May 1. The singer's beauty look, created by Fenty Beauty global makeup artist Priscilla Ono, was centered around pearlescent tones and a classic red pout using her very own lip paint (£22, Boots) and other Fenty Beauty products.
Sharing a full breakdown of Rihanna's makeup look, Ono said. “For the 2023 Met Gala, we paired an iconic Rihanna-red lip with a glamorous yet edgy high-shimmer, pearlescent eye. We felt like the combination, matched with a soft-matte, chiselled complexion, celebrated the same classic yet modern beauty of Karl Lagerfeld’s designs.”
Rihanna's Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint in Uncensored perfectly complemented her all-white Met Gala ensemble. While the product comes in plenty of different shades, the pop and R&B superstar chose to stick with the head-turning red.
Rihanna certainly brought the glamour as she arrived wearing a floral white dress by Valentino. Her white gown had a long, sweeping train and she paired it with a structured ivory top covered in roses.
She completed her iconic look with fingerless gloves and a pair of white sunglasses that had ultra-long fake eyelashes attached.
Behind her cat-eye sunglasses, Rihanna wore her makeup brand's new Hella Thicc Volumizing Mascara (£17.10) and metallic eyes created using the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo in Lightning Dust/Fire Crystal (£29) and the Velvet Cuffs shade from the Snap Shadows Mix & Match Eyeshadow Palette In True Neutrals (£22).
As for her matte skin, Ono created this using Fenty Beauty’s Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation (£30) and Powder Foundation (£30). She finished the look with the Match Stix Contour Skinstick (£25), Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer (£29), and Invisimatte Instant Setting + Blotting Powder (£25) - leaving Rihanna ready for the Met Gala steps.
The Umbrella singer's 2023 Met Gala look was nothing short of sensational and you can recreate it by snapping up the same Fenty Beauty products used by Ono. They're available to shop on the Boots website, while stocks last.
