Ridvan Yilmaz has added to Rangers' injury woes as he is taken off early doors in their match against Aberdeen.
The left-back impressed midweek against Napoli in the Champions League on a rare start for his new club, having arrived from Besiktas in the summer. He kept his place the XI for a crucial visit of Aberdeen in the Premiership, where manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst desperately needs a win after going four points behind in the title race with a 1-1 draw against Livingston last weekend.
Yilmaz had started brightly with a few forward passes and helped set Fashion Sakala up for a great chance but his match was over after 10 minutes. He pulled up clutching his hamstring immediately after trying to block a cross into the box and immediately it was clear that he wasn't going to be able to continue. It's yet more injury misery for Rangers.
