A “you have to see it to believe it” Jordan Love touchdown pass that ricocheted off the hands of Romeo Doubs and into the waiting arms of Jayden Reed gave the Green Bay Packers a 17-16 lead over the Denver Broncos in the fourth quarter on Sunday at Empower Field.
Love’s side-armed throw — working around Broncos edge rusher Jonathon Cooper — was intended for Doubs, but the ball hit off Doubs’ hands and found its way to Reed, who was waiting behind the play in the back of the end zone.
Adding to the drama was the fact that the play came on fourth down.
The touchdown pass — Love’s second of the second half — gave the Packers their first lead of the contest.
The score finished off an 11-play, 76-yard drive. Twice, the Packers went for it on fourth down, including on the touchdown play.
Here’s video of the crazy score:
Just like they drew it up 😂 @Packers
