Riders forced to walk down Blackpool's The Big One rollercoaster after it stops

Thrillseekers were forced to walk down from The Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach when the colossal ride was suddenly stopped.

The rollercoaster ground to a halt on Tuesday (April 11) at around 2.50pm when weather conditions changed suddenly. Passengers on the ride were asked to walk back down to the ground, guided by staff at the attraction.

Once they were back down to safety, the Big One rollercoaster was closed for the remainder of the day due to high winds, Lancs Live reports.
