Five people have been arrested in relation to the fatal shooting of Rico Andrews in Battersea, southwest London.
Rico, 21, died from a gunshot wound to the chest after the incident on October 5 on Shuttleworth Road just before 10pm.
Metropolitan Police said a man, aged, 32, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday at a commercial venue in Guildford, Surrey, and was taken into custody.
He is being transferred to northwest London, the force said.
Another man, aged 27, and three women aged in their 30s were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They are also in custody.
Earlier this year Josh Eno, 23, was charged with murder. He appeared in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on October 28 and then at the Old Bailey on October 31.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the shooting in Battersea after reports from residents and found Rico injured.
Paramedics immediately provided emergency first aid, but despite their efforts he died at the scene, the Met said.
At the time a mother-of-four who lived opposite the shooting told the Standard: “We heard at least one bang it was like fireworks but a deeper sound. The next thing the estate was flooded with police and everybody was in a panic.
“It wasn’t even that late, a lot of people were up and about. My youngest kids started crying, it was awful. There have been stabbings around here but a shooting, that’s another level.”
Another resident whose flat overlooks the scene said: “The paramedics worked very hard, there was a crowd of people sone were sobbing, I guess they were family or friends.”
Rico's next of kin have been updated on this development and continue to be supported by specialist officers.
A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the chest.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil John from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command who leads the investigation said: “These arrests mark another significant development in our investigation, but I must reiterate that we still need help for the public.
"I continue to appeal to anyone who was in the area to area and saw events unfold, or anyone who has captured this incident on phone or doorbell footage, to contact police immediately.”
