Ricki Lake finds the idea of rebuilding her house "exhausting and paralysing".
The 56-year-old former talk show host and husband Ross Birmingham were devastated to lose their "sanctuary" in Malibu to the Los Angeles wildfires earlier this month and though she is currently in despair, she has vowed to make her new home just as much of a haven for friends and family as their previous abode was.
