Rapper Rick Ross has shown off his new black-and-gold plane that has his logo and name over the aircraft’s body.
Rick, 47, whose real name is William Leonard Roberts II, is an American rapper, record executive, and former athlete - who enjoys flaunting his wealth online.
Just days ago TMZ reported that he danced on the tarmac and urged that his followers could one day have their own private plane if they put in enough effort.
Mississippi-born Rick showed the inside of the aircraft to the outlet at the time, with him now also showing off the exterior to his masses of followers.
Showing off his 2012 Gulfstream G 550, which is powered by twin Rolls-Royce engines, and boasts a custom paint job by Duncan Aviation, fans have praised the star for his new purchase.
Taking to Instagram to show off his swanky new plane, Rick, whose Instagram name is Rich Forever, penned: "Sky’s the limit. Maybach Airlines Reaching new heights."
"I love how you are now a private jet owner," penned one fan in the comments.
While another gushed: "Keep blessing him lord. Cover his jet under your protection. Let there always be good food and good times onboard. Amen."
And a third wrote: "The biggest boss!"
At the time of flaunting his new purchase, it was reported by Autoevolution that he dubbed his new plane "a $5 billion play", which left some fans thinking that was the figure he paid for the jet.
One fan even commented on the post today and said: "You're lying because your net worth is not even 5 billion dollars or it will ever be 5 billion dollars," with Autoevolution having now said that "he couldn't have, even if he had this kind of money, which he doesn't".
They also said that with Rick claiming it to be a "$5 billion play", it means that it is his way of "solidifying his status as future billionaire".
In recent years the rapper often holds an annual car meet at his Florida mansion for fellow car enthusiasts.
The Rick Ross Car and Bike show has its own Instagram page, which boats of having more than 200,000 followers.
And just a matter of weeks ago on May 16, 2023, Rick announced on Instagram that he plans to run for mayor of Fayetteville, Georgia, where he resides, in 2024.
