Richmond is the latest borough to call on Sadiq Khan to re-think the upcoming Ulez expansion that is set to cover the whole of the capital.
The Lib-Dem controlled council has asked the Mayor of London to delay the scheme - due to be implemented in August - until public transport schemes are improved and the cost-of-living crisis ends.
It comes as eight boroughs – including five Tory and two Lib-Dem councils – are preparing to challenge Sadiq Khan’s decision to expand the Ulez on August 29.
