Richest UK TV host named with whopping £18.6 million fortune – and it's not Ant or Dec

Bradley Walsh has been named the richest solo TV host with a whopping £18.6 million fortune.

The 63-year-old currently fronts the hugely popular ITV game show The Chase, as well as presenting the spin-off Beat the Chasers, Blankety Blank and Wheel of Fortune.

He also starred in ITV’s The Larkins, which was a reboot of the beloved 1990s series The Darling Buds of May, Coronation Street, BBC’s Doctor Who and Law & Order: UK.

Bradley is one of the most familiar faces on telly, and while he’s made a career hosting game shows that help contestants win money, he’s also made a few million in the process.

Over the last 12 months, he’s seen his assets grow by £3.5 million, according to figures from his WingIt Productions firm –was making Bradley the wealthiest solo TV host.

And his fortune will continue to grow over the next few months, as he’s landed the coveted hosting gig on BBC One’s reboot of Gladiators, alongside his son Barney.

The father-son duo also appear in their own show, Breaking Dad, which sees them travel around the world in an RV doing a series of challenges.

“Bradley really is at the top of his game right now and is raking it in. He’s firmly established himself at the top of his profession and is the go-to man for both the BBC and ITV,” an insider told The Sun.

Bradley announced the exciting news that he and Barney would be presenting the hotly-anticipated return of Gladiators in May, and confessed he was over the moon to have landed the gig.

The star revealed his wife Donna Walsh used to be the head choreographer for the Gladiators cheerleaders in the 1990s, so Bradley was delighted the game show is making a comeback.

“Wow! I can’t believe that I’ve been asked to be part of this iconic show. I used to sit backstage, or in the audience, every week watching my wife be part of this juggernaut and now I get to co-host a new version of GLADIATORS!!!” he said in a statement.
