Richarlison signs, Bergwijn sold, Paratici's final transfer call: Conte's dream Tottenham attack

Premier League defenders will be dreading coming up against Tottenham next season with Antonio Conte boasting a fearsome attack. Harry Kane and Son Heung-min's incredible partnership has dominated headlines many a time over the past six years but Spurs now have another potent weapon in their frontline in the shape of Dejan Kulusevski.

Signed from Juventus at the end of the January window, the Swede hit the ground running and contributed with five goals and eight assists in his 20 games. The 22-year-old almost immediately developed an understanding with Kane and Son, with the trio going on to form one of the most deadly combinations in the Premier League.

Tottenham have made big strides under Conte in such a short space of time and they will be in confident mood by the time their season opener against Southampton comes around. Already boosted by the arrival of three new signings, more are expected to follow in the coming weeks and Tottenham's dream attack could have a different look about it compared to the end of last campaign.

So what exactly will Tottenham's attack look like in 2022/23? football.london takes a look.

It appears that Conte will have quite the selection headache on his hands with Richarlison looking set to join from Everton. football.london understands that there is a growing confidence within Spurs that the Brazilian will join them and talks between the two clubs are understood to be progressing well.

The 25-year-old, who scored 11 times and assisted five goals last campaign, is capable of playing across the frontline and has plenty of Premier League experience after first linking up with Watford back in 2017. Richarlison will likely have to settle for a place on the substitutes' bench to begin with but he will be intent on forcing his way into the team and making one of the three positions his own.

Lucas Moura, as ever, will provide competition in attack but Steven Bergwijn's time in the capital does appear to be coming to an end. The Dutchman has made it clear that he wants to leave for regular first-team football and a return to his homeland could be on the cards with Ajax the favourites for his signature.

One possible addition on the wing could be Everton's Anthony Gordon as Spurs have enquired about the England U21 ace. football.london understands that the youngster would be keen on the move to play Champions League football under Conte but would not ask to leave his hometown club.

With Richarlison set to replace Bergwijn in the squad providing of course that both transfers go through, Fabio Paratici will face a final decision over whether or not Spurs move for another out-and-out striker to provide cover for Kane. Richarlison has led the line numerous times for Everton in the past but Spurs can't afford to leave themselves too short in attack with the amount of games coming up as injuries will occur over the campaign.

Conte's first-choice attack picks itself at present with Son, Kane and Kulusevski certain starters. However, things may change quite a bit over the first few months if Richarlison can find his form and contribute with goals and assists.

Whereas in the past Tottenham's alterations have come in Europe, their return to the Champions League may mean that their changes come in the Premier League instead depending on how tough their group is in Europe's premier competition. Not entering the Carabao Cup until November and with the third round of the FA Cup getting underway in January as usual, Conte may have no option but to use the Premier League as the ideal time to rotate rather than always going with his favoured attack in the league.

Whatever happens, the Italian looks set to have some mouthwatering options to choose from.
