Richarlison left the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on crutches and in tears after Saturday's win 2-0 over Everton, amid fears he could miss the World Cup through injury.
The Brazilian pulled up with a calf strain in the 52nd-minute and walked gingerly off the pitch after receiving treatment.
Afterwards, he came through the mixed zone on crutches and not putting weight on his left leg, and broke down in tears during an interview with ESPN Brasil.
Richarlison has established himself as Brazil's No9 ahead of Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino as the World Cup looms, and scored three times in two matches in last month's international break.
He told ESPN Brazil: “It's kind of hard to say because it's close to the realisation of my dream [of the World Cup]. I've already suffered a similar injury to this but I hope it can heal as soon as possible.

“The last time when I was at Everton, I was out of action for about two months.
“I know it's hard to talk at this moment, but let's see, I'll recover. Monday, I have an exam but even walking hurts. I have to stay positive if I want to go to Qatar.
“It's all so close, it's about a month to go, and we've been getting ready, working every day so that nothing serious can happen. Unfortunately, today I had this calf injury, but now it's just a matter of waiting, doing the treatment every day so that I can recover as soon as possible.”
Afterwards, Antonio Conte confirmed Richarlison would miss Wednesday's trip to Manchester United, saying: “For sure he's out against United. He felt something in his calf and he won't be available for that game. He needs a bit of time to recover.”
He is expected to have a scan and be assessed by Spurs' medical staff in the coming days, when he should discover if his World Cup dream is still alive.
The tournament in Qatar begins on November 20, with the five-time winners' opening game against Serbia four days later.
National associations are due to name their squads next month before the Premier League pauses on the weekend of November 12-13.
