Richard Osman revealed he has filmed his last-ever Pointless episode and opened up about his replacements.
The comedian and author had been part of the show for over a decade alongside Alexander Armstrong but, in April, it was announced that he would be leaving the programme to focus on his writing career.
He will still co-host Pointless Celebrities as well as Richard Osman's House of Games.
There will be a number of celebrities who will stand in as guest co-hosts including Sally Lindsay, Alex Brooker, Lauren Laverne, Stephen Mangan, Konnie Huq and Ed Gamble.
When asked what it would be like to watch other people do his job, he explained to BBC Breakfast: "It’s actually going to be lovely.
“I’m the only person in Britain who doesn’t really get to play along with Pointless because I’m sitting there with the answer and I know I’ve got to talk about the scores and all that stuff.
“I think the new ones are going be on quite soon, I’ve filmed my last ones already.
“The idea that I can watch and actually play along and guess at the answers… they’ve got amazing, amazing people replacing me, so I’m really looking forward to it.”
Alexander previously discussed the change and said that it's going to be 'such a ride'.
"Richard will still be in once a week on Saturdays to make sure everything’s ticking over nicely, but otherwise it’s just me bringing new Pointless friends in and showing them the ropes,"he said.
"Loads of new and fun personalities on the desk next to me. I can’t wait."
In a statement, Lauren Laverne described the opportunity to be a guest host as an "honour and a thrill."
Ed Gamble added: "I’m presuming someone else has made the joke about having big shoes to fill but I want everyone to know I thought of it as well.

"I’m over the moon to have a go at co-hosting one of my favourite TV shows ever and I can’t wait to show everyone my impeccable general knowledge (providing I have full access to the internet at all times)."
Meanwhile, Richard is focusing on his books after his debut novel, The Thursday Murder Club, was published in 2020 and became a bestseller.
The book follows a group of pensioners at a retirement village who investigate unsolved crimes.
A sequel, The Man Who Died Twice, was published last year.
