Football pundit Richard Keys has branded Nottingham Forest star Brennan Johnson a "hero" for his tackle on Tottenham forward Richarlison.
In a moment that has caused much controversy on social media, Richarlison did several keepie-uppies as his Tottenham side played Forest at the City Ground on Sunday afternoon.
The Brazilian was soon clattered by Johnson for his antics, much to the delight of not only Forest supporters, but Keys too. Writing on his blog, Keys said "well done" to Johnson for his tackle and said it was a "shame" Johnson didn't hit the Tottenham man with something "worthwhile".

Keys wrote : "Last word. I’ve got a new hero - Brennan Johnson. Well done Brennan. Inevitably the irritating Richarlison was going to ground when you hit him. It’s just a shame it wasn’t with something to make it worthwhile!"
Pundits and supporters alike have been praising Johnson for the challenge, with his father David and former Reds man David Prutton among those to comment on the incident. Head coach Steve Cooper also condemned Richarlison's showboating antics.
“I wouldn’t want my players to do that, what Richarlison did,” Cooper said. “But if that’s accepted at Spurs then that’s nothing to do with me. But it wouldn’t be accepted here, that’s for sure.”
