Richard Keys launched into a full-blown rant after Bruno Fernandes' controversial goal in the Manchester Derby on Saturday afternoon.
Manchester United came from a goal down to beat Manchester City 2-1 at Old Trafford. Substitute Jack Grealish opened the scoring in the second half before late strikes from Fernandes and Marcus Rashford snatched all three points for Erik ten Hag's side.
United's equaliser was contentious, as Rashford was in an offside position when Fernandes sneaked in from behind to finish the move. Rashford was not deemed to have interfered with play, although many critics - including Keys - disagree with that assessment.
Speaking live on beIN Sports at full-time, presenter Keys said: "VAR have told us they didn't look at it [the goal] because they didn't feel as though the decision was incorrect, but that's a situation where [it is] a matter of fact, offside."
Pundit Andy Gray replied: "We're assuming so, yeah. Unless something comes up with the law, [such as] it's a new law in the game that we don't know about... that's offside."
Gray and Keys then laughed before the latter bizarrely ranted: "It's offside, offside, offside, offside, offside!"

Fellow pundit Jason McAteer then added: "If he [Rashford] goes knowing he's offside and then stands still and Fernandes runs through and scores, that's different... The fact that he [Rashford] gets to the ball and, as you've said, has impeded the defender - and Akanji has stopped - then he's impacted the passage of play."
Saturday afternoon's result has a huge impact on the Premier League title race. City remain in second - five points behind leaders Arsenal. The Gunners will go eight points clear of the pre-season title favourites if they win at rivals Tottenham on Sunday afternoon.
Yet it also brings United into the title race. If Arsenal lose to Spurs and United win at the Emirates next week, they will move to within three points of the leaders. Ten Hag won't consider his team as title candidates, but they can't be discounted at this stage.
Fernandes' goal has divided opinion, with many criticising the decision to award it. Chelsea legend Petr Cech tweeted: "The first United goal just proved the people who make the rules don't understand the game."
TV presenter Mark Pougatch also took to Twitter to moan: "I genuinely have no idea what the offside law is anymore if Rashford is deemed neither to have interfered with play nor his actions impact upon a defender."
Yet former Premier League referee Peter Walton, who works as an analyst for BT Sport, said as the incident unfolded: "Well, let's just say I thought this was a goal... Rashford has made a move for the ball [but] hasn't interfered with an opponent in play with the ball [and] hasn't played the ball himself.
"[It's] quite right the flag goes up because of the offside position, but when VAR look at this - and when the assistant discusses it with [referee] Stuart Attwell - I think the goal will stand."
