Richard Curtis on the infamous Andrew Lincoln scene in Love Actually: ‘I wonder – do we all regret the choice now?’

An annotated Love Actually script, which is set to be sold in a charity auction, reveals that the film’s writer-director Richard Curtis now has doubts over its most infamous scene.

The scene in question, from the 2003 Christmas romcom, saw Andrew Lincoln’s character Mark use cue-cards to declare his unrequited love for Keira Knightley’s Juliet, the new wife of his best friend Peter (Chiwetel Ejiofor).
