Richard Collins dead: Amy Winehouse's stepdad dies just days after hospitalisation

Amy Winehouse's stepdad has died aged 71.

Richard Collins, who married the singer's mum Janis and supported her through her career, was revealed to have died in a statement confirming the heartbreaking news.

Following her death in July 2011, Richard headed the Amy Winehouse Foundation as a director and trustee.
