Oasis are reviving the Britpop era with shows at Wembley this weekend — and there couldn’t be a more fitting support act than Richard Ashcroft. Having broken into the music scene during a similar period, Ashcroft has formed a special bond with the Gallagher brothers after The Verve supported them back in 1993.
Ashcroft isn’t the only support act. The second support act are 90s band Cast, led by former La’s bassist John Power.
