A mum was given a lifeline on Rich House Poor House tonight by a millionaire who she swapped homes with for a week.
In the episode, Ocean and her daughter were struggling to survive on the limited money they had in their two bedroom rented flat in Braintree whilst on the other end of the spectrum, entrepreneurs Barrie and Scott own seven businesses worth £200million and a string of homes and holiday homes, including their holiday pad in Chelmsford.
The pair swapped homes for a week, with Ocean being treated to the luxuries of shopping sprees, in-house staff and a chauffeur whilst Barrie and Scott had just £60 to spend a week and needed to do long bar shifts to earn some extra cash.
During their visit to one another's families, Barrie heard from Ocean's mum and friends how she had had a cooking business in lockdown, where she would make Caribbean food at home and either sell it to the local community or hand it out to free to friends.
Her love of cooking was evident, with Barrie secretly organising for some of his most trusted friends and family members to come over and taste her food, with the potential of possibly going into business with her.
Barrie's testers loved the food and he was convinced they should set a business up together.
However, she broke down in tears when he pointed out something in her kitchen - a lot of magnets from when her friends went to luxurious places abroad - and wanted to help her make that a reality for herself too.
"How would you like to go and get your own fridge magnet and come and spend a couple of weeks in my house in Florida?" he asked a shocked Ocean, who couldn't believe the offer was even there.
However, he had another surprise in store.
He said: "When I spoke to your friend, she told me about the baby food and how you'd make batches for her. I definitely think there's a market for baby food. I think there's an opportunity here for us both.
"I would like to bring you out to Florida and then work out with you how we can set up a brand. I will back you with an initial £250,000 and then from that, you need to find some premises and professional kitchen stuff. Our guys will set up websites for you and we'll figure out how to get your products on the supermarket shelves."
Ocean was overcome with emotion, breaking down as she said she didn't think this experience would change her life completely.
