A Bristol couple who are left with just £71 a week after bills ended up in tears after being offered a package worth £30,000 on the latest episode of Rich House, Poor House. The episode saw Ant and Tash Burrows swap lives, budgets and houses with a wealthy Welsh couple.
Delivery driver Ant and Tash - who has just launched a pole dancing business - live in a three-bed former council house with their two kids and tell the show they were “barely making enough to cover the bills”. Despite Ant working 12-hour shifts, the family only has £71 a week leftover after paying their bills.
Tash says on the Channel 5 show that Ant was suffering “a lot of sleepless nights", reports WalesOnline. Attempting to get the family out of debt, Tash had set up a pole dancing school - but her studio was “barely breaking even.” For some extra money, she was also upcycling glassware.
