Rhode Island man left friend’s rented Connecticut cabin only to almost collide with an alleged 8ft Bigfoot: ‘I’m no longer a skeptic’

This past Fourth of July, a standard drive home turned into a brush with the unknown, when a man reportedly ran into Bigfoot. The stunned driver reported he nearly plowed into an eight-foot, cone-headed creature that suddenly charged across his path in the dead of night. This incredible encounter, which has left the driver questioning his previous skepticism, offers a detailed look at what he insists was a cryptid rather than a misidentified animal.

According to The Sun US and the NY Post, the encounter took place near Voluntown, Connecticut, at approximately 1:45 AM on July 5. Kevin Klimas, a resident of Rhode Island, had just departed from a friend’s rented cabin and was in the process of driving home. Klimas had only traveled about 200 yards when the figure leapt from the woods and directly into the path of his headlights. He slammed on his brakes, coming to a halt just in time to avoid a collision.
