Lystra Adams left The Real Housewives of Cheshire viewers gushing when she came out on the ITVBe show and revealed she had a girlfriend.
The businesswoman announced her romance last month, having previously used the pronoun "they" to describe her girlfriend before she bravely told her co-stars she had found love with a woman.
Now, it appears that there's no looking back for Lystra, 45, who explained exclusively to The Mirror that she had no issues with opening up about her sexuality.
Before going official, Lystra who had never been in a romantic relationship with a woman introduced Ashley as a friend to her nearest and dearest, before explaining they were an item.
Reflecting on going public, the former model said: "Myself and Ash spoke about it and first of all, I didn't want to hide her.
"We've been together seven months now, at the start we kept it on the down-low, I'm really excited I opened up.
"It's my life, I'm in reality and I'm not going to hide her from the world, I want the world to know her, she's amazing and hopefully one day she'll be my wife."
The Naomi Campbell lookalike continued: "Sheena [Lynch] has met her, Tanya [Bardsley] has met her, Seema [Malhotra] has met her, they love her, she's amazing, what's not to love?!"
Despite talking about previous partners on the show, Lystra continued: "I confess it's a different side I've never shown, I've never introduced partners before.
"Ashley is amazing, she's very calm and collected, it's a balance for me – I'm a firecracker and she's my calming influence."
The mum-of-one is currently starring in a Real Housewives spin-off which sees the glamourous ladies cruising around Mexico after departing from San Francisco.
"It was something different, I hadn't been on a cruise before and the Cheshire ladies took that cruise by storm, we had fun," she gushed.
But while the ladies of Cheshire are famed for their drama, Lystra insists she was able to escape the mayhem during the infamous dinner parties.
She said: "The cruise ship we were on was very big, so if there was anything I didn't like, I can go to one end and whoever could go to the other. We had a lot of space!"
During filming, Lystra and her co-stars were reunited with Tanya Bardsley who left the show last year but the wife of Stockport Country defender Phil didn't tell anybody she was rejoining the show.
"It was a really big surprise and I was really happy, I never stopped hugging her," she said before adding: "It was so nice to see her back and just being her wonderful and bubbly self."
