Kennedy advocated for the test's return, citing the poor health of American youth and a "chronic disease crisis," noting 77 percent cannot qualify for military service.
He used WWE as an analogy for resilience, stating that failure is part of life and persistence leads to ultimate success.
The Presidential Fitness Test was revived by President Donald Trump in May, replacing the Obama administration's program, and returned to schools in May 2026.
