Hoping to gain valuable rounds for his preparation towards a potential title shot, Gaballo entered the ring to face Thai veteran Phai Pharob in a WBO Oriental bantamweight title fight. However, the fight ended abruptly, lasting just 32 seconds into the first round, as Gaballo landed a devastating knockout punch.
