Revenue seize concealed cigarettes and tobacco worth €5.5 million at Dublin Port

Revenue Tobacco Dublin Port

Revenue seized €5.5 million worth of cigarettes and tobacco at Dublin Port on Tuesday following a routine search.

The discovery was made with the assistance of Revenue’s mobile x-ray scanner.

A total of 4.5 million cigarettes and over three tonnes of 'roll your own' tobacco were seized.
