A few weeks back, I shared that I was on the judging panel for the latest Virtual Photography Awards competition, and I'm pleased to reveal the category winners and overall Virtual Photographer of the Year for 2025.
Let me start by saying that the entries this year (as with prior years) have been outstanding, and I'm in awe of the visual talent on display. The prestigious competition was created by Mik Bromley, founder of TheFourthFocus, and highlights the very best of in-game photography captured by digital artists around the globe.
There were 3.2K entries for 2025, curated from over 330 software titles and submitted across 7 thematic categories. I'll be sharing each of the category winners below, but congratulations are in order for Hary G (aka Hary1495g) for taking the top title as well as receiving two additional wins in both the Open and Storytelling categories.

If you'd like to hear my thoughts on some of the entries from this year, be sure to watch the official results show below - hosted by Mik Bromley, in discussion with myself and fellow judges Leonardo Sang and Jean Choukroun.
