The duo's primary objective was to secure a victory for their team without losing a single wicket, prioritizing the collective success over personal milestones.

Pursuing a target of 153 runs, Jaiswal and Gill launched a relentless assault on the Zimbabwean bowlers, achieving the goal in a mere 15.2 overs. This remarkable feat marked only the second time in T20I history that India has defeated Zimbabwe by a margin of 10 wickets.
