A total of 232 winners of the 2022 Queen’s Awards for Enterprise have been announced today celebrating the achievements of UK businesses.
Businesses across a range of sectors have been recognised by Her Majesty The Queen on her birthday as among the best in the country.
Awards have been won in the categories of International Trade, Innovation, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity.
Small Business Minister Paul Scully said: “This country is renowned for its entrepreneurial achievements and there is no greater showcase for it than The Queen’s Awards. It’s vital we celebrate the success of our businesses and recognise the contributions they make to communities across the country.
“I congratulate this year’s winners for their hard work and commitment over the last year and I wish them every success for the future.”
Among the businesses honoured this year are Newcastle-based Pearson Engineering, which provides the Armed Forces with equipment on the battlefield to help deal with minefields and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). See the full list of North East businesses honoured here.

Stallion AI Services, Little Soap Company and TopCashback are among 25 companies from across the West Midlands announced today to have won the coveted accolade - see the full list here.
In Staffordshire, Biocomposites, which is based at Keele University, has been recognised in both the Innovation and International Trade categories.
The Welsh winners include 4 Mental Health, an organisation in Conwy providing mental health training courses worldwide, which won in the International Trade category. Read more about all the winners in Wales.
A total of 20 businesses across the South West were presented with accolades, including Bristol-based baby device firm Rockit which is one of just seven UK companies to receive two awards this year - see profiles on all the South West winners.
A bookseller that works in more than 175 countries is among the dozens of firms from London and the South East to be honoured - the full list is here.
In Yorkshire and Humber, knitwear designer Jack Brodie Ltd that supplies Harrods and Selfridges is among 24 recognised in the region - see profiles on all the winners in Yorkshire and Humber.
A hot food display specialist, a disability consultancy, a metal recycling business and a company that makes equipment to help deaf people are listed among winners in the East Midlands - see all 22 businesses here.
The awards, which are valid for five years, allows winners to fly The Queen’s Awards flag and use the emblem on their marketing materials. Winners are also given a Grant of Appointment (an official certificate) and a commemorative crystal trophy.
