Revealed: Huge financial cost of TfL cyber attack

Transport for London has revealed that the cyber attack that it suffered at the start of September has cost it about £30m.

This includes £5m it has spent on “external support” to help it respond to, and recover from, the hacking, including software upgrades to its computer systems.
