The modernisation of Buckingham Palace under Queen Elizabeth II should be used as a model for renovating Parliament, the Conservatives have said.
Shadow Commons Leader Jesse Norman slammed the proposed multi-billion pound costs for the restoration of the Palace of Westminster as having got “way of of whack”.
