A Nottingham cat café has been closed to customers while the business carries out renovations. The Kitty Café, based on Friar Lane, announced late last month that it would be closed for four weeks from April 18.
The business promotes and facilitates the rescue and rehoming of its cats, raising money through its online shop and offering food and drinks to customers at its cafes. As well as its Nottingham branch, the company also has outlets in Leeds and Birmingham.

An announcement on social media read: "We are excited to see the new and improved Kitty Café Notts but in the meantime visit us before 18th or get ready for our reopening in May. If you can't wait that long, why not try Kitty Café Leeds and Birmingham!
"Oh and don't worry our kitties will be taken care of and their routine maintained - they will get lots of love and treats whilst they miss all the lovely customers." A sign on the front of the café reads: "Closed for renovations. Please keep an eye on our social media for updates, or book on our website for June onwards."
